Duane R. “Frex” Sweger, 55, of Troy Grove, died Saturday, October 17, 2015 in the home.

Funeral service solutions are 7:00 PM Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Mueller Funeral Residence in Peru with Rev. Brian Gilbert, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Princeton officiating. Personal burial are going to be in Troy Grove Cemetery. Visitation will undoubtedly be 4-7:00 PM Thursday at funeral home.

Mr. Sweger was created January 5, 1960 in LaSalle to Charles and Beatrice (Temple) Sweger. He had been a 1978 graduate of LaSalle-Peru twelfth grade. He was retired from J.C. Penney in Peru, working as maintenance supervisor for more than three decades. He was a sports lover, specifically of Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls. He enjoyed credit cards and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors feature four siblings, Donald (Sharon) Sweger of Princeton, Nancy (Thomas) Weeks of LaMoille, David (Laura) Sweger of Mendota and Dennis (Barb) Sweger of Oglesby; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Shanna Sweger, Tammy Sweger, Allen and Adrian Sweger, Hannah Weeks and Kelsey Sweger and friends, Chuck Mammen and Harry Callahan.
