ADELE & DELWIN CONNECT MEMORIAL AQUATIC CENTER
Adele and Delwin had been born in LaSalle-Peru in 1911 and 1907 correspondingly, went to regional level schools and graduated from LaSalle Peru Township senior high school. Delwin married Adele Steinbach in 1941. Adele worked at a nearby bank and Delwin ended up being energetic in farming and farm management. Adele wished to honor the woman husband, whom passed on in 1986, by making her possessions to build an aquatic center in the Illinois Valley YMCA, Peru, Illinois. Adele passed on in 2003, designating her executor and a committee of local businessmen to handle her wishes when it comes to Illinois Valley YMCA.
